CVA Resource Centre

Croydon
Aim of service:
The volunteering service will help service users to volunteer their services in any community setting, depending on what their interests are.  The service will develop a range of volunteering opportunities by working with (potential) “host” organisations to ensure they fully support the recovery of service users placed with them.

person centred planning to develop a personal development plan involving volunteering;

matching to suitable placements and assisting with the application process;

setting up and accompanying people to interviews;

supporting people in volunteering placements;

regular assessment of service users’ recovery, and the benefits offered by the service.

People with a wide range of experiences and motives for volunteering whose care is co-ordinated through the Care Programme Approach (CPA).
