The Women's House is an 8-bed unit for women, aged 16-65, who have
ongoing mental illness and are experiencing a mental health crisis.
The service is run by women for women.
They support people who live in the London Borough of Croydon.
They provide assessment, treatment and care to people who can recognise
the signs of their own deteriorating mental illness and are able to
request the service themselves.
Their service brings together teams of health and social care professionals,
including nurses, social workers and psychiatrists.
