The
Furniture Service co-ordinates the supply of donated furniture and
household equipment to people with mental health problems who are
moving from hospital or temporary accommodation, into homes of their
own in the community.
Initial contact for this service should be via the person dealing with the client’s care – simply ask them to contact us on 020 8253 8201. Our office hours are 9am-5pm, from Tuesday to Friday, and an answer phone is available 7 days a week. Clients who have already received our ‘home starter’ packs are also welcome to contact us directly.
Follow up calls are offered to clients to ensure they are coping
in their new homes
