Steering Committee

Steering Committee members are the legal trustees (once we have charity status) of the Group, being responsible for making sure that the charity is run lawfully and effectively. They also direct and support Hear Us User Groups activities

At present, the Steering Committee meets once every month and members who are interested are welcome to come along to meetings to listen and find out more. The dates, times and locations of meetings are available from our office, Tel 020 8681 6888.

Croydon User Council

The Croydon User Council are made up of current and ex-Mental Health Service Users and representatives of Mental Health centres across the borough of Croydon.

The Council meet to discuss topical issues relating to mental health locally and nationally.

The group meets monthly, with a meeting open to all current and ex service users every other month where Professionals from the service come and face the public they serve.

Meeting Cycle for the Croydon User Council (CUC) for 2008 

Member’s meetings about mental health, which include a variety of topics which may interest you, the Group organizes occasional seminar meetings. Guest speakers are invited to make presentations about topics on which they can speak authoritatively and all members are welcome to attend free of charge.

Meetings and events are published in our newsletter, website and posters will be posted at resource centres, and drop-ins around the borough about each one a couple of weeks in advance of them taking place.
